Community is free for a single developer: bring your own Anthropic key, run it entirely in your browser. Paid Team ($99/dev/mo) and Enterprise add the Hub, SSO, and org-wide governance for larger teams.

Which browsers are supported?

It installs as a browser extension in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, version 120 or newer. A slim XE tab then appears on the right edge of any ServiceNow instance page.

Can I use it on production?

No. It runs on any development or sub-production ServiceNow instance you can sign in to. Write actions are blocked on production by design — it never touches your production instance.

Do I need to run a server?

No. XpertApps Engineer is a browser extension, so there is nothing to host or manage. Install it, connect your Claude, and ask your instance — you can reach your first answer in about two minutes.

What Claude access do I need?

On Community, bring your own Anthropic API key, encrypted in your browser. On Team and Enterprise, point it at your org’s AI gateway, Amazon Bedrock, or Google Vertex — however your organization already reaches Claude.
